Terms of Service

Using Weggle.xyz and the services attached to it (file hosting, meme generation, profiles and API access) means you accept these terms. If you do not, stop using the site.

They apply to everyone who visits or uses the service, signed in or not.

Weggle.xyz runs:

• File hosting: upload, store and share files through our own CDN at cdn.weggle.xyz
• Meme generation: build images from templates in the browser
• Profiles: a public page, a wall, followers and messages
• API access: programmatic access at api.weggle.xyz
• Admin tooling: moderation and analytics at dole.weggle.xyz, staff only

We can change, pause or retire any part of it, with or without warning.

Most features need an account. Registering means you agree to:

• Give accurate information and keep it current
• Keep your password to yourself
• Take responsibility for what happens under your account
• Tell us straight away if someone else gets into it

You must be at least 13 years old. Accounts we find to be under that age are deleted without notice.

Do not use Weggle.xyz to:

• Upload or create anything illegal, abusive, or infringing on someone else's rights
• Harass, stalk or target other users
• Try to reach systems or accounts that are not yours
• Distribute malware or anything written to cause damage
• Run phishing or spam operations
• Work around the moderation filters or content scanning
• Pretend to be staff, or to be another user
• Point bots or scrapers at the site without written permission

Breaking any of these can end in immediate suspension or permanent removal.

What you upload stays yours. Uploading it gives us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and serve it as part of running the service. nothing more.

You are responsible for what you upload. Automated moderation runs locally on our own hardware, and staff review flagged material by hand. Anything breaking these terms can be removed without notice and logged.

Files are stored on our own CDN and identified by SHA-256 hash so that identical uploads share storage. We do not sell your files or hand them to third parties.

API access at api.weggle.xyz is rate-limited:

• Free: 100 requests per hour
• Pro and Premium: the higher limits listed on your plan

Do not use the API to build a service that reproduces what Weggle does, without asking first. Keep keys private, and keep them out of public repositories.

There are several tiers, with different storage and upload limits. We can change plan features and prices with 30 days' notice to anyone already paying. Going past your limits can restrict uploads until usage comes back under them.

We can suspend or close an account at any time, without notice, for breaking these terms. When that happens your right to use the service ends immediately. You can delete your own account from settings at any point, or by writing to us.

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure.

So far as the law allows, Weggle.xyz is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost data, profit or goodwill, arising from using or being unable to use the service, even where we were told such damage was possible.

These terms get revised from time to time. The date at the top of the page changes when they do. For anything material we will try to give notice by email or a banner on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
